Launch is a selective three-day venture-design intensive for people building something new for the Gospel. Through teaching, guided design work, coaching, and peer engagement, participants clarify their vision, develop a coherent first venture concept, and define what to test or do next.

Launch is for early-stage missional builders. These are founders, leaders, and innovators building a church, ministry, nonprofit, movement, platform, media project, technology, business, or other initiative with an integral Gospel purpose.

Launch is for builders moving from a clear missional burden toward a testable venture concept. You do not need a finished strategy, team, funding, organization, or validated model, but you should be able to explain who you want to serve, what problem you see, and what you may build.

Launch is probably not the right fit if your idea is still entirely undefined or if you are already operating a clear model and primarily need help with validation, fundraising, scaling, hiring, or operations. One of our Labs may be a better fit at that stage.

Yes. Each application should represent one primary project and may include an individual founder, cofounder pair, or small founding team. Builders working inside an existing church or ministry should have enough ownership and permission to act on what they develop.

Launch welcomes a wide range of Gospel ventures, including church plants, ministries, nonprofits, movements, media, technology, businesses, and other initiatives where Christian mission shapes both the intended impact and the work itself.

It is not designed for generic social-impact projects, conventional businesses without a clear missional purpose, partisan political initiatives, personal coaching practices, or established ministries seeking only incremental improvement.

You will leave with a completed Venture Canvas that clarifies your calling, people, problem, intended transformation, offering, venture model, and next test. You will also develop a clearer venture story, a concrete initial offering, and a focused 90-day next step.

Launch will help clarify what is strong, what remains unresolved, and help you determine whether the next move is to test your idea, place it within a larger organization, or go a different direction.

No. Launch is not a pitch competition or funding program. It focuses on formation, venture clarity, feedback, and community. Participation does not guarantee funding, introductions, endorsement, or admission into another Missional Labs program.

Launch is offered without a program fee through the support of church partners and donors. Participants are responsible for travel and lodging unless otherwise specified.

Launch is designed as a complete standalone experience. Participants may continue independently, stay connected to relationships formed during the event, or apply separately for future Missional Labs opportunities.

Church partners help identify, refer, sponsor, and support emerging builders. Launch gives churches an external formation pathway without requiring them to build their own accelerator or innovation program.
