Every Day Saints

The goal of life is to become a Saint - the path is Transcendental Formation.

  • Everything in life is a Liturgy - and we are formed, for better or for worse, by these liturgies. There is a goal and purpose to life: to become a saint; the foundations and the direction matter. Every Day Saints is spiritual formation along the historic, orthodox foundations of Goodness, Truth, and Beauty.

  • Every Day Saints is born out of the frustration and isolation and mediocrity of my own life. I spent my life in the church - was catechized intensely, and eventually found myself doing my Masters in Theology. Despite all the books I had read, all the ministry work done, all the prayers and discipleship groups - my life remained a mediocre mess. The space I grew up in didn't answer big questions - it ran from them. I wasn't given a vision for virtue; I was not taught how to Live a Beautiful Life. I was sold a cheap form of gnosticism and was expected to play the part. I needed a new way; or The Old Ways. And so, I committed to the path I had studied for so long. I tore down old structures and rebuilt on the right foundation with the correct framework. And life has never been the same.

This is the pulse of my life - and whether I run this or not, whether it succeeds or not - it will be everything I am committed to. Living and Loving according to Goodness, Truth, and Beauty.

  • The world is shrouded in the oppression of disenchantment and disillusionment. We are discontent and disenfranchised. Our churches far too often try to remedy this solution with a kind of functional gnosticism - an over spiritualizing at the expense of embodied reality. This has added insult to injury - generations of mediocre Christians desperate for change and revival - but bereft of the way to get there.

  • There is a way forward - and it's to let the Transcendentals form a foundation for all Embodied formation. In a time when we are bombarded with Truth claims, or appeals to Goodness - the vision of Every Day Saints is to lead through Beauty. To capture the hearts and souls of a generation into the Creator's Heart. Beauty is the Invitation.
