Parables are a trademark of Jesus. Inspired by the marathon of eight parables Jesus taught in Matthew 13, we exist to catalyze parables in the Church to life. Suspiciously christian, scripture-based and soul-awakening, our parable short films will spark curiosity, deep dialogues and make you ponder. (Nonprofit)

  • The Church is in recalibration. From way of the world to the ancient way of Jesus. GenXers or midlifers are leaving church more dramatically than others. We seek to awaken or reinvigorate souls toward finishing well, innovating with God to advance cultural and midlife renewal one parable at a time.

  • We offer our flagship original parable short films to screen at film festivals and church chapels. We gather filmmakers and offer a first of its kind film incubator where we partner with global churches to provide film financing, creative development and end-to-end production of their parable ideas.

  • The Gospel and parables proliferating creatively over a third of the world’s population in Post-Christian West and ‘Gospel-foreign’ Asian nations like Japan, China and Thailand. Our first MVP released in 2021 screened at 5 film festivals and 2 churches. Our second prototype is releasing Fall 2024.

  • A serial tentmaker whose home is on the road for 20 years church planting in Cambodia to Copenhagen to California, Jan believes in disrupting societal norms to live differently. After a global storytelling and film/TV career with the Olympics, Jan now serves as an urban ministry strategist in San Francisco between finishing her MA in Leadership and Innovation at Biola and raising two little kids.
