Everyday Institute
We create + curate digital resources that accelerate discipleship every single day.

We live in the golden age of digital resources for following Jesus, but the Internet is a big place. That’s why at Everyday Institute we’re creating a pathway of free digital courses to get you started and curating other (mostly) digital resources that we love to help you navigate it all. All it takes is two minutes to sign up and start accelerating discipleship every single day.

I’ve been a pastor for over a decade, and I’ve experienced the frustration of not having the bandwidth to either create a pathway of discipleship content (digital or otherwise) or curate the best stuff that’s out there. I’ve also seen the frustration that individuals experience when they’re hungry to grow but don’t know where to start.
As a pastor and course-builder, I saw a unique opportunity to do something about this—and that’s what led to the creation of Everyday Institute. What started out as a solution to a problem I was seeing in my own church has quickly become something individuals and churches beyond us can leverage as well.
Our dream is 10,000 students accelerating discipleship every single day.

There are “menus” of digital resources out there (e.g., resource libraries) and individual “menu items” (e.g., apps, courses, etc.), but we believe that what people need most is a map for making the most of it all. The problem is that most church leaders don’t have the bandwidth to make a digital resource map for people. Without a map to guide them, it’s easy for people to either feel overwhelmed by all the resources out there or end up in weird places.

We see an opportunity to create a map of digital resources that individuals can use or church leaders can leverage to accelerate discipleship. Over the next few years, we’re creating a central discipleship pathway of digital courses at Everyday Institute. Each of these courses is designed to lead into other (mostly) digital resources that we curate. (For example, the Everyday Habits Course leads people into the Missional Life Course, Financial Peace University, and the Prayer Course.)
