Fatherhood Voicemails

A podcast series discussing the themes of a fatherless generation. This podcast acts as a collection of conversations by a variety of guests and myself, a 24-year-old raised by a single mother, sharing insights that would have been gold dust for my 15-year-old self.

I consider it an absolute gift to have had father figures and mentors step in to fill the fatherhood deficit I was carrying for so long. The freedom I was able to experience had a dramatic impact on all areas of my life - most importantly my relationship with God. It is God's heart for his children to see him as father - and often our own relationships with our dads can have a detrimental impact on that. Therefore, my hope is to help people experience healing in their fatherhood wounds - that perhaps it would open their hearts to recognising the true good father we have in God.

Fatherless homes are on the rise, and while I know my podcast won’t be the solution, I know that these voicemails will act as a piece of a puzzle of healing to anyone who relates to a younger Jordan Deen.

My prayer is that anyone journeying through the complexities of a fatherless life will find hope in the stories of the people I’ll be interviewing. I want to empower people to recognise the generational impact that both a broken home and a healed home can have. If we can push one person toward healing- they would be pioneering a new narrative for their bloodline.

I am an experienced multidisciplinary creative producer, having worked with various organizations across Europe and America. The current fatherless climate is something that I feel incredibly called to speak into and help guide people towards experiencing redemption and healing.
